If you have any specific triggers or topics that you'd like to avoid while threading with Peridot, or if you'd rather not receive tags for her at all for any reason, leave a comment here! I will honor your choice, no questions asked. RP is a fun activity first and foremost, and making sure that everyone is comfortable is my top priority!

Permissions

Backtagging: I'm down for backtagging, especially if it's something important that needs to be threaded out rather than hand-waved. That said, I do have a tendency to lose interest in threads if they go really, really long spans of time without any activity (on my end or yours), but generally I will let you know if I need to drop something.
Fourthwalling: Generally this is a no for me, but always feel free to ask if there's something you really want to do. On the other side of the coin, the media that exists in Peridot's canon is completely unique to it, and Peridot herself isn't exactly what you would call genre savvy so there's no worry about anything like that coming from her.

Hugging this character: Close CR is absolutely welcome to it. Anyone else is welcome to try as long as it's understood that it will probably make her very, very uncomfortable.
Kissing this character: If you're a cute girl, yes. Please feel free. 
Flirting with this character: Again, if your character is a girl, go right ahead. You'll probably make her really flustered and it'll be hilarious. Anyone who isn't a girl can expect to be flat out rejected with extreme prejudice. 
Fighting with this character: Totally fine, although with fights I usually like to plot out at least  a rough idea of how things are going to end, just to ensure that the thread keeps flowing properly. Alternatively if you want to go DnD style and do it by dice rolls, I am open to that idea.
Injuring this character: Totally fine. The nice thing about Peridot (and all gems) is you won't cause her any permanent physical damage if you want to punch her or drop her or whatever. She's extremely sturdy, even by her specie's standards. Deliberate gem damage is off the table though unless you want to get some really negative CR going. 
Poofing this character: I'm generally pretty open to having her get 'poofed' (ie physical form destroyed, gem intact). Sometimes I have it happen by accident just for the hilarity of it. If you do it on purpose though she'll be pretty salty about it though, so check with me first if you want to do that.
Killing (shattering) this character: With very rare exception, the answer is no.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Generally this is fine. She doesn't really have any deep, dark ultra secret information that can never see the light of day. Her past as basically being a villain is a bit of a sore subject that she doesn't want people to spread around so that's the only thing I request you take care with.
IC Inbox Spamming: I highly encourage this. IC inbox threads give me life. Please harass her by all avenues of communication.

Shipping Preferences

Some general stuff...

I play Peridot as pretty much the thirstiest lesbian imaginable, which in my opinion really isn't too much of a stretch from how she behaves in canon. Shipping her with dudes is just straight up off the table for me, sorry! She's also polyamorous because generally gems give much less of a fuck about things like monogamy than humans do. At Lost Carnival, Peridot is already in a long-established relationship with Amethyst, but it's an open one and they're both, in theory, chill with the idea of the other gathering as many partners as they'd like. 

LC!Peridot also knows how to bone and knows what human genitals are. Sorry. 

The following are my TOP FAVES for shipping with Peridot:

• Amethyst; I love them, and they have the most wholesome chemistry in the show.
• Jasper; I'm trash for size difference and the idea of them having rough, problematic hate-sex. SORRY. 
• Lapis Lazuli; honk if you love playing out BAD COMMUNICATION AND INADVERTENT EMOTIONAL MANIPULATION between who people who love each other a lot.
• Garnet; I know 'three's a crowd' is a thing but Peridot definitely has a puppy crush on her and you can't convince me otherwise. basically I ship these two less romantically and more just, Peridot in puppy love, and Garnet being supportive of all her life's endeavors.
• Yellow Diamond; Don't.... Look at me, OK, I love garbage and I love writing Peridot getting dominated.
• Malachite. No comment.

Regarding Cross Canon Ships:  Yes. Yes please. Give them to me. No dudes and no minors, as I've already mentioned, but anyone else. Yes. Your character can be a robot or a dragon or anything, I literally do not give a shit as long as they're a girl and they can give consent I will likely be open to the idea of shipping Peridot with them, or at least to having her get a stupid crush on your character.
